Located in the Coast Range foothills of northwest Oregon's Yamhill Valley, Carlton Farms produces fresh, handcrafted meats of the highest quality for select restaurants, gourmet markets, and customers with discriminating tastes throughout the Pacific Northwest. A family-owned business, we specialize in premium fresh and natural pork as well as exceptional beef, lamb, and a variety of sausages and smoked meats.

About Carlton Farms


Founded in 1956 in Carlton, Oregon, by Henry " Hank" Duyn, Carlton Farms was originally known as Carlton Packing Company. In 1958, Hank's brother, Carl Duyn, joined the company. Carl's son, John Duyn, assumed leadership of the company in 1974 and transformed it from Carlton Packing into the upscale brand known today as Carlton Farms. John served as President and Chief Executive Officer until 2014.

Today, Carlton Farms is still in the family with Rita O’Hara Duyn stewarding the vision as our current President and Chief Executive Officer.


At Carlton Farms, we are committed to producing only the freshest and finest handcrafted natural meats. To achieve that, we believe in working with a select team of handpicked local and national growers who raise animals to our exacting standards. We also believe in the importance of running a clean, efficient, and humane facility that consistently meets or exceeds USDA standards. And we believe in a thoughtful, handcrafted approach that doesn't rely on artificial flavors, colors, or chemicals.

Just as Carlton Farms believes that working with local growers, restaurants, and markets ensures the best products and the best experiences for consumers, so too do we believe in the power of supporting the community through philanthropic efforts.

Not only do we encourage our employees to be involved — and support them by providing financial backing and donated products — but we've also lent our hands to more than 45 community organizations, from schools and family service charities to civic development projects and youth sports groups.

Papa Jake's Seasoning

Papa Jake's Seasoning has been around for over 50 years. Henry Duyn, one of the founders of Carlton Farms, brought it to all the annual barbeques and celebrations in the local park.

Named after the current company president's Grandfather, Girard "Jake" Duyn. The caricature of Papa Jake on the label is by John Duyn's sister in law and the original drawing still hangs behind his desk.
