Located in the foothills of the Oregon Coast Range in the northern Willamette Valley, Carlton Farms has been providing quality meats, old world sausage, and real wood smoked meats since 1956. Formed as Carlton Packing Company by Henry Duyn in 1956, he was joined by his brother, Carl in 1958. Today, Carl's son, John Duyn serves as Carlton Farms President and CEO.

Carlton Farms focuses on producing high quality products that are featured in finer restaurants, grocers and custom meat shops. Known especially for its Carlton Farms Fresh & Natural Pork, so flavorful that it's featured by name on restaurant menus and in gourmet meat cases. We also produce premium aged beef, lamb, and a variety of sausages and smoked meats. Papa Jakes Barbecue Spice, a dry-rub marinade featuring an old family recipe, is sold in many retail outlets (or directly to you) along with Carlton Farms handcrafted meats.

John Duyn leads the company with a simple philosophy: To ensure quality meats, you absolutely have to start with the best resources. That's why everyone, from our growers and their feed suppliers, to every one of our employees, understands that at Carlton Farms quality is what sets us apart.

John Duyn is a past president, past board chairman, and current director of the National Meat Association. Plant manager, Bill Orton is past president of the Northwest Meat Processors Association and is a member of their Hall of Fame. Additionally, Carlton Farms has received numerous safety awards and recognition from Oregon's governors.
