USDA food inspectors and veterinary staff are in our plant every day to ensure that every cut we produce is safe and wholesome. It's no surprise that Carlton Farms was one of the first plants in the United States to receive a Total Quality Control designation by the USDA.

Carlton Farms believes in supporting the communities it serves. That's why the company encourages employees to be involved, and backs up that philosophy by providing financial support and donated products. The list of over 45 organizations that have benefited from Carlton Farms support includes industry associations, schools, youth sports, family service charities and civic development projects.

While we're cutting edge when it comes to safety and sanitation, we maintain a time-honored tradition of craftsmanship. In other words, we do some things the old fashioned way. Sure, we could rush the process like others do, but you'd be able to taste the difference. Our old world aging means Carlton Farms bacon is dry cured with only natural flavors. It means we don't need to inject our hams with any added moisture, artificial flavors or curing accelerators before finishing them with natural wood smoke. And, it means our beef is dry aged to bring out the natural flavors. It takes longer, but then you'd taste the difference.
