Delivery Policy.

General Information / Terms of Payment.
All orders are subject to product availability. If an item is not in stock at the time you place your order, we will notify you and refund you the total amount of your order, using the original method of payment.

Payment is due upon within 7 days of delivery. If payment is not made net 7 days of delivery, a monthly service charge of 1.5% shall accrue.

How We Ship.
Carlton Farms products are perishable food items; to ensure the quality of the product we ship all orders via UPS with insulated coolers. Our products are vacuum packed and quick flash-frozen to ensure the quality of our meat. Carlton Farms’ superior method of packaging, greatly increases the amount of time the product can remain safely in the freezer.

Shipment Method.
All orders are shipped via UPS Monday through Wednesday. Orders received after 4:00 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time) will be sent the following day. Orders received Wednesday through Sunday will ship the following Monday. All orders are sent UPS two-day service. Next day or Saturday delivery arrangements can be made by calling 1.800.932.0946. Your shipment tracking number will be available once your order ships.

Delivery Time.
Items offered on our website are only available for delivery to addresses in the United States.

We are sorry, but due to the nature of the products we sell, we cannot ship to Canada, other foreign countries, or to APO, FPO, and P.O. Box addresses.

Delivery Instructions.
If you require special delivery instructions, please provide such instructions on the checkout page of our website. We also highly recommend that you speak to one of our representatives about your delivery arrangements by calling 1.800.932.0946.

Promise of Quality.
We promise to take the steps to ensure that our products are of the highest quality and will arrive safely, if the correct address has been provided. While our products can safely remain in the supplied containers for a short time, we highly advise the product be placed in a freezer or refrigerator as soon as possible, preferably within a few hours of delivery.

Returns.
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help! Please notify your Carlton Farms sales representative of your request to return any perishable item within 48 hours of delivery. Place the item you wish to return in a temperature-controlled cooler or freezer. Your Carlton Farms sales representative can help you with determining where this item should be stored until a certified Carlton Farms delivery driver can come pick it up.

Any product return requests made after 48 hours from the date of delivery may not be accepted. For product delivered on Fridays, customers will have until the following Monday to notify a Carlton Farms sales representative of a return request.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging. Please keep the receipt.

Custom orders cannot be returned. All items on sale or on the hot sheet are final. All offal product sales are final. All items that leave the plant in an unrefrigerated vehicle or are returned in an unrefrigerated vehicle will be denied.

Please carefully inspect your items at delivery. Damaged items (i.e. damaged box, exposed product) must be returned immediately for a refund or replacement of your item.

For returns from online orders, please contact the Carlton Farms sales department for assistance at 1.800.932.0946 Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., PST.

Credit.
Once we have received your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. A Carlton Farms sales representative will then notify you on the status of your credit after inspecting the item.

If your credit is approved, we will initiate a credit to your account. Please review your invoice(s) carefully and verify your delivery is correct with a Carlton Farms delivery driver.

Return shipping costs for online orders are non-refundable. Delivery confirmation is available for all online orders.

This Returned Goods Policy is subject to change at any time and without prior notice to other parties. Please visit our website at www.carltonfarms.com under “Returns” for the most current policy.

Warranties.
Carlton Farms does not provide any warranties, express or implied, with the sale of its production, including, but not limited to, warranties of merchantability and of fitness for particular purpose, use or application, and all other obligations or liabilities on the part of the Carlton Farms.

Limitation of Liability.
Carlton Farms’ total liability with respect to any product shall not exceed the price set forth for such product. In addition, Carlton Farms shall in no event be liable for incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to the sale of its products.

Dispute Resolution.
The relationship between Carlton Farms and you shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon. Carlton Farms and you agree that any dispute that arises between Carlton and you shall be resolved in Oregon through binding arbitration before the Judicial Arbitration & Mediation Service (JAMS). The parties shall split the cost of arbitration.
